Unless their journeymen goaltenders that have turned elite fall apart…..that 1st WC spot is the one you want

Wake me when Monty sends a message and puts Kyrou in the pressbox, biggest ghost I've seen in a long time

You can see the Avs players activate during the play and when they do they always get the puck. They get in there and disrupt the play.

Look at the Avs shots...most are wide open clean lane to the net. Just the shooter and the goalie.

This is a clinic...

Watching the Avs broadcast...they basically called the Blues soft in the 1st period when they were discussing the possibility of it turning into a brawlfest, they said the Blues aren't that team...which is true, they are the softest team in my lifetime.

Not able to watch tonight so keep that in mind.

That said, reading the score sheet - both 3rd and 4th lines have not been scored on. Also have 3 of our 7 shots.

Idk usually in blowouts like this, all the lines take damage. I guess that just means the top 2 lines are just that overmatched.

That epic choke job in Game 7 last season really did a number on this franchise.

I don't "call" many things. But his one little rush early in the game that ended up doing nothing...I said that's all we'll see from him.

If anyone should be flying in this game, it's him.

The Avs play fast they don't miss passes they don't pass into skates or behind players they don't overpass and their goalies make saves. Not saying this example is on Binnie but Hofer being 6'5" and athletic probably makes a couple of those saves. Monty needs to send a message id start with Kyrou and put him in the pressbox until he comes to practice ready to go. Or he gets tired of the pressbox and asks for a trade

I wonder if Team Canada gets shellacked in the Olympics if they play Bonner and Parayko. Watching the beginning of this game but unable to comment 55 can’t catch up with anybody in our zone. The home team place so all over the place in our zone the first half of the first period.
Maybe or maybe not Hofer would’ve done better in the first five minutes, but our players are playing soft like somebody mentioned.

We have So few shots too

How does a team go from barely above .500 with two journeymen goaltenders and in one off season become a team that only has 2 loses in regulation through the first 38 games of the season?

There's dominating and then there's things just don't make sense. MacKinnon and Makar aren't that dominating.

Seems like something is going to give with that team soon.
