He’s seemed a little nervous in his play. I hate using the word timid, but I’m struggling to find another adjective.

Expectations couldn't be higher for him, is he trying to do too much?

I don’t think so, but there is definitely pressure on him. Coming into the tourney, there are some that thought he could wrestle that #1 ranking away from McKenna. Based solely on this tourney…not comparing Stenberg playing in a men’s league in Sweden and leading that league in scoring to McKenna playing NCAA but right now, McKenna looks to closer to an elite talent, while Stenberg looks more like Robert Thomas level not quite elite. That’s just my observation…opinions vary however. Still many games to go, looking forward to watching both players the rest of the way.

Looks like 10 shots, 10 saves at this point.

Heading to a New Years party. Appreciate any updates, if you can.

Thank you in advance.

He played well in the first. USA was all over them early but Love answered the bell. Looked like USA was trying to win the game in the first 10 mins. Great first period, very physical

Have been skeptical about him to be honest but he has looked pretty positionally sound in this tournament.

Just got home from the game. Good game. Sweden deserved to win but the main difference was goaltending. Love has looked solid each time I’ve seen him play. He’s still only 18 but we may have something there with him.

What did you guys think of the diving penalty givin to love? Curious on opinions. Maybe shouldnt have went down but what business did the USA player (zellers i believe) have doing a fly by through the crease and clipping him?
