I agree. There have been a lot of mysteries concerning players availability over the years. Mosley?
Back to the coaches; doesn't it seem that the athletic dept. has made some dubious decisions concerning coaches' contracts? Didn't Cuonzo get a big renew after his first great recruiting year. Way back Suitcase got a new contract every year by rumoring he was going to leave then he did without recruiting anyone for the next coach. Even GP's agent floated rumors. Now we've gotten ourselves a couple of big contract coaches (in comparison) without big time records. How do coaches with similar contracts compare production-wise? Hopefully, DG won't have another 23-24 type season this year & Drink will beat someone with a winning record next year, but aren't they getting paid to do more than they have? Granted, we are selling out Faurot & at least football is a lot more fun than BO & the drought of Woody & Stull, but will we sell out next year? Ticket prices are up & so is the SOS. Maybe I'm still in a bad mood after attending Braggin' Rights & the Gator.
