100%. Just because he’s improved from his disturbing level of bad doesn’t mean he’s been very good. He just passed it directly on a Sabre’s tape in the neutral zone before the break.

I also don’t like that he hasn’t shown much of his offensive strength. Again better than before but I hate having him this season as a team that is right on the border of making/missing the playoffs.

Yea. He’s been better than he was. But the advanced stats have him as the 2nd worst game average in the entire league for players with more than 10 games played. He was last for a long time but Romanov for the Isles recently “passed” him.

He’s got a long way to go. Much longer than many here are willing to admit.

He needs to get a lot better ... FAST.

IF he was providing .33 to .5 ppg with at least a 1 to 4 G/A ratio, you could live with the defensive mistakes.

As it is, he's just a bit of a lump back there. Meanwhile, Zack's looking like he'll score at least 25 this season with how much he's picked up the pace after his 15-game lull. Still just a stupid, unnecessary trade. Stenberg would have been a more appropriate trade piece for this deal.

Potential for potential. Not a proven young stud for a guy who "might" feel comfortable 160 games from now.

Any other player would’ve been sent down ages ago but the Blues are desperate to justify that trade in my opinion. Kessel, by the numbers, is a far better option
