I was thinking more of an injury call up or something at some point in '26-'27. As it stands Parayko and Mailloux will be here Im unsure if Mailloux gets top 4 minutes by next season that may be a stretch and I dont think Jiricek steps into a top 4 role right away. Lindstein seems likely for a LHD spot next year in a battle with Tucker.
Bottom line is as too many posters were panning the Jiricek pick due to an injury at 18 yrs old the kid is going to be a stud NHL defenseman

I'd say his recent performance before the tournament nudged his timeline up a bit.

It’s one thing for a D to pull that move off at any time, it’s a whole other story to attempt it in OT. He will make things interesting in camp next year.
