I watched part of it. With setbacks too, with Hence who has clearly taken a step backwards, injured to Mathews, Roby and Hjerpe and they are still rolling. Love to see that resilience.

Most improved verse best over all are two separate conversations. Most improved could have been from way deep to head above water. Who knows the degree of improve.

But. It is a great improvement.

Thank you Rock and gents,

I for one am very optimistic about Bloom’s build process and commitment to the steps that had to be taken. I also believe that he understands the difference between competing and contending. Something for which his predecessor never showed an understanding and appreciation.

I fully expect this team to be playing much better baseball as the season progresses than at the beginning with my biggest concern being Oli’s ability really coach and communicate with younger players and put them in the best position to succeed. Something he has yet to show other than talk about it. That should be his determining success factor for the upcoming season away from MO.
