The Worst Seat at Busch Stadium

Post by ggnoobs »

This video popped up on my youtube and it was an interesting watch: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/vv0ed4MiBY0

Begs the question: Where do you like to sit when attending a game? My favorite is section 250 or 350, right behind home plate, but high enough to get a great view of the whole field.

I don't know about the worst, but the best I ever had was in the green seats, first row in line with home plate. Also, a great pre-game dinner and drinks and everything was covered during the game by a waitress taking orders.

Once in a lifetime for me with 6 tickets I was given took my wife and four good friends.

Right Center Bleachers on a Friday night. Affordable seats. Good time every time if you're reasonably sociable.

When I go to any ballpark, I usually go to an online ticket reseller and find the best seat I can for a reasonable amount. For 90%+ of MLB games it's usually among the best seats in the house. I prefer lower level behind the first base dugout, or perhaps the first row of the mezzanine level above the first base dugout. I'd rather not have to look through a foul ball screen.

I believe the protective netting goes from foul pole to foul pole. In my opinion it was one of the best things added for fan safety.

LOL...The worst seat is probably in the manager's office. Every manager of the team has been derided and insulted through their tenures at one time or another.

Usually sit about 7 to 11 rows behind the cards dugout...

The team helped with fan safety by dropping its BA and OBP by 25 points and its OPS by nearly 100 points over the past 25 years.
This is how team construction and netting technology work together.

Best seats i have sat in are either a row behind the green seats or in the Champions Club. Both were wonderful gifts from family.

Local bar.
At the game I always liked the bleachers. Ticket prices were $1 when I first went. All the uppity high class people sat in box seats for $3.50. I imagine bleacher tickets are up to $9 now. Box seat probably $25-30 according to inflation calculator.

Best affordable seats were the second deck infield at Busch II. In the new ballpark those great seats were replaced with luxury suites.
