I’m not sure Tucker is better than Kessel, but Kessel just makes some absolutely boneheaded decisions. For as little as he plays I can think of 3 or 4 just really stupid plays from him that have led to huge goals against. And his mistakes are easily fixable. More so than Tucker’s problems. All Kessel has to do is make the simple, easy play. Normally, just getting it out of his own end. He just doesn’t do it enough. Bottom line is neither should be n the top 6 post TDL.

Snuggerud on return: "There was a two-week span where I was recovering and couldn't do much. Then just to be back on the ice practicing with (Ray Barile) and (Nathan Walker), you're just so happy. Hockey is just a fun sport. It makes you realize how you really miss it."

I don’t get the Kessel hate. Sure he makes some mistakes but is often steady. I’m seeing more mistakes from Tucker and Mailloux. Kessel also has the most pressure of any dman needing to play an almost perfect game to stay in the lineup

“Skill, guys that we rely on not only to score but to help the whole, entire game and they’re dynamic, like both of them,” Blues coach Jim Montgomery said.

With Kyrou and Snuggerud returning, it puts Mathieu Joseph and Robby Fabbri out of the lineup. It doesn’t put the lineup in flux yet, but roster decisions will have to be made when Nathan Walker and Nick Bjugstad, each out with an upper-body injury, and Dylan Holloway (high ankle sprain) are set to come back.

“It’s up to those guys that have played well to keep playing well to make our decision hard,” Montgomery said.
