In this video they give their most improved farm systems and most improved prospects. The Cardinals were number 1 and they had Joshua Baez as their most improved prospect.

It's reassuring to see experts talk about him. Heard a lot in the last month about how the changes he made were very real and his stats were in no way a fluke. If he keeps it up in AAA this year he'll easily be a top 50 or better prospect in baseball. Will be interested to see where tgey play Baez. If Chase Davis stays in AA maybe Baez gets an extended look in CF? He definitely has the speed for it.

What’s exciting about our minor league system is that we’ve added so much pitching recently including older prospects we’ve forgotten about due to arm injuries. It could all come together sooner.

We won't know how all these trades end up for a couple of years but one thing we do know for sure, C. Bloom has re-built the dilapidated farms system he inherited from Mo.

Now it's up to BDWJr to supply the payroll after the new CBA is in place for him to add some "star" power to the team!

It’s very encouraging and it’s amazing how quickly it has turned around.

There are still major concerns. Back on my soap box. Outfielders!!!!

Thanks for the link!
It really starts on the Cards at 4 minutes and goes until 10:30 or so minutes.

I know played AA last year. Great prospect but we obviously need more than one.

My hope is C. Bloom lands an OF prospect when he deals Donny (perhaps a really good one if he pairs him w/JoJo).

He's drafted and dealt for a good stash of power arms, now it's time to land a young, powerhitting OF for this dilapidated OF!

BA has another new article ranking the "traded prospects," with Clarke receiving the highest ranking, albeit it's in the 150-500 tier.
I didn't see Hunter Dobbins and Richard/Dick Fitts noted, maybe b/c they aren't considered prospects b/c of MLB experience.

6. Brandon Clarke, LHP, Cardinals (from Red Sox) | BA Grade: 60/Extreme

Analysis: Clarke’s raw stuff is tantalizing, but his strike-throwing is a major question mark. He was off to a great start in 2025 until he struggled to pitch through a blister before the Red Sox eventually shut him down. If he returns healthy with the stuff he showed early in 2025, he’ll move up the rankings quickly. Clarke was just outside the Red Sox top 10, but now ranks sixth in the Cardinals’ system [MLB has him 7th].

10. Yhoiker Fajardo, RHP, Cardinals (from Red Sox) | BA Grade: 50/Average

Analysis: Fajardo broke out in 2025 thanks to increased fastball velocity. His heater now sits in the low-to-mid-90s, topping out at 97, but doesn’t miss many bats because of below-average ride. His secondaries are more advanced. Fajardo’s changeup and slider both show above-average potential and he throws a lot of strikes for a teenager. Fajardo projects as a potential back-end starter and ranked ninth in the Red Sox system at the time of the trade. [Note: ranked 9th by MLB in the Cards system now.]

I have thought about this and if he could play CF it would be one of the biggest positive developments that could happen for the roster and for Baez it might turn him into one of the more valuable players in all of baseball. Just think about the idea of a tall, fast, athletic centerfielder who is also a 30-30 caliber offensive performer.
