No longer speculating. Willy is long gone. Who takes first.

Burleson. Player without a home. Bet he makes a big move to first.

Herrera. He ain’t a catcher. I’d like to see him try left.

Gorman. Third base ain’t it.

Three candidates.
Burleson will be the main guy. I’m hoping the Gorman experiment is over and he is gone.

I’m not sure IH could handle first.
Seems many first baseman were lefty. That glove covers the hole, but makes the line a back hand play. Thoughts.
The left-hand throw first to second is easier.

Also, I thought they quit on IH in Left too soon. Obviously my opinion.
I agree. He has the arm. I don’t know about his speed. And the glove.
Could be wrong, my impression is that he runs well enough. My default position about guys playing Left is this: "Greg Luzinski could."
If Walker can be moved to RF, Herrera can easily be repurposed to LF.

With Burleson at first, JJ at second Winn SS and Nado third, you’re better than the normal.

Burleson Donovan Winn JJ is best in baseball as well.

Burleson JJ Winn ?? Is a problem.

Burleson ?? Winn JJ is less of a problem.

If Nado stays, where does Gorman play.

I’m stuck here. If we don’t play Herrera here, he catches, and that just won’t work. Too much stress on the staff.

Herrera to left may work.
N/A will be traded again.
Agreed. Colorado traded him once.

Yes, but a lefty 1st baseman can field a grounder and throw to 2nd without turning his body toward the 2nd baseman.. which sure helps if starting the first phase of a double play. Turning to throw takes extra time resulting in throw back to first possibl hun late to complete the DP .
That’s why for years managers wanted only lefty guys at first base.
