This likely going to be a precedent setting case.

F UGA. Sore losers.
Re: Damon Wilson sues Georgia
This will turn out to be really fun or really nasty or, probably, a quiet settlement pretty early on.
I try not to click on SI links but here's one from CBS Sports.

Definitely not a lawyer here so someone will have to explain why a term sheet signed by both parties isn't a "legally binding document", as claimed. And aren't one man's loopholes another's binding agreements?

Good for him.
Hopefully Georgia will settle and this will end soon. Georgia needs to realize lots of players are watching.

I did not even sleep at a Holiday Inn last night but I believe Wilsons case hinges here below:jcgmoi wrote: ↑23 Dec 2025 14:21 pm This will turn out to be really fun or really nasty or, probably, a quiet settlement pretty early on.

"CCC failed even to present Wilson what it promised in the Term Sheet -- a "full License and Option Agreement," the lawsuit said. "The parties thus never executed a legally binding agreement containing any of the provisions in the Term Sheet."
Sounds like the Term Sheet was not lived up to....according to Wilson.

Yet the Georgia clown on this forum continues to equivocate apparently. This or that.
Re: Damon Wilson sues Georgia
I know this is the season for the airing of grievances but don't you ever turn it off? You personalize everything and you offer nothing else. Why don't you try to make your point for once instead of hiding behind name-calling and attitude?Yet the Georgia clown on this forum continues to equivocate apparently.
Georgia and Wilson are stand-ins for athletic departments and players. Schools want players to stick around as long as their agreement (contract, term sheet, license agreement, whatever) calls for. Players want complete freedom to change schools whenever they please.
The NCAA won't set rules because they're afraid of losing another huge suit, and there's no other authority. Meanwhile teams build rosters and see them develop huge holes overnight.
I'm in favor of players playing where they want. I'm also in favor of player commitments to schools meaning something.

Re: Damon Wilson sues Georgia
Is it possible that Damon ends up staying with Mizzou one more year ?
