Mr. Mo worked for and with an owner and ownership group. They brought the greatest run in Cardinals history, that you destroyed. Just as I've been saying for a long time now, C. Bloom can walk (restock the farm system w/young arms) & chew gum (he reiterated that he's not trashing 2026 and is looking to add a RH bat to the OF or even infield, some veteran RP's and possibly a veteran starting pitcher) at the same time!

It sounds like BDWJr has possibly even given him the ok to re-invest some of the off-the-books contract savings into this years team, another thing I was hoping Dewitt would do.

The payroll savings that (hopefully) Dewitt is going to let him re-invest back into the 2026 roster (and doing so doesn't alter from the L-T goal of re-building from within, nor does it take away from future payroll) could mean 2026 isn't the "throw-away" season some think it's going to be.
