Not all Binny. There's been some poor passing and bad defense as well. They are being out talented as well. They would be losing if Hofer was in as well. Bad play AND bad "puck luck"..

I’m sorry, but this is a clunker of a game so far.
There’s no flow to the game for the blues

Our whole offensive scheme is the hack and wack, seems like it depends mostly on puck luck. Tampa looks composed like they practice set plays everyday.

IMO, not Mailloux's fault. Buch should've had that. Just poor.

STL hooked. That’s pretty much what I was getting at.
We’ve been this way a lot since preseason. That’s why sometimes of things on the coaches too.

Yeah Tampa dominating with their now 11 shots almost through 2 periods. Giving in a goal 12 seconds in sets the tone and the team clearly needs confidence and goaltending to win with all of the players they are missing

See, I don’t understand. Neighbor had a perfect opportunity to look at the best opening and shoot on goal and score . He passes to Thomas and nothing happens.

I’m done with both Sunny and Buch. Both are boat anchors. Buch with the lazy play on the Mailloux pass, while admittedly not right on the tape, but at least try to skate to it. And Sunny is just so slow. Had his pocket picked at our blueline that led to the shot that hit the post. He’s all heart and a smart player, but is slower than a turtle.

Goal #3, LM and Thomas swapped guys. Thomas on Cirelli, LM on Raddysh. LM with a short pass to Buch who has hands like Toropchenko, and Thomas lets yet another guy get inside position on the center ice and gets punished again.

Why are we not coaching this out of the players. It's really simple, do not give your guy the center of the ice in the slot until it's out of the zone. If you don't do that, you shouldn't be playing. I know there are other guys making mistakes out there, but outside of Buch all of them are making millions less a year and are far less lazy in the zone than Thomas who is supposed to be some sort of top end player.

I agree but this isn't on Binnington completely. They skate to catch up with a better team. They cant connect on outlet passes, the D is less than desirable and the coach doesnt make any adjustments. Due to injuries, they just don't have enough NHL talent. Hell, they didn't have enough NHL talent before the injuries. Ya gotta spread the blame out appropriately..

The Blues in general are built to play with the lead system wise but they also have a lot of players that lose their confidence easily and soft goals or 1 out of 3/4 shots going in will kill the momentum of any team.

If Binnington makes that save 12 seconds in then we could have easily seen a completely different game from the Blues. Sadly Binnington has been LOST this season. You have to start Hofer in a non back to back right now. Biggest win the of the season last game…..

Agreed. Hofer should already have the starting job. Binny should've lost it, but Monty isn't the smartest guy. My personal opinion on that first goal, it was redirected. Those type shots tend to find their way in to the net. I just will not fault Binny on the tone that the entire team set 21 seconds in.

I'm thrilled both for the team and the individual that Faulk has refound his form this season. He looks better than I've ever seen him in a Blues uniform. If nothing else, he could fetch a nice return at the TDL.

That being sad, it's flat-out pathetic that a defenseman is the only double-digit scorer on this team and obviously, the team leader in goals.

These idiots need to stop d*(bleep) around and shoot the F'n puck!
