Okay, well, basically everything I have heard from you has indicated that you are upset that we are rebuilding and not out signingor trading with 2026 in mind, but okay. I'll assume now that you aren't upset about this.
If your problem then is that it wasn't started 4-5 years ago, there's nothing we can do about that. Some people at the time said that Goldschmidt and/or Arenado should have been traded a few years ago, but I don't remember too many on here at the time agreeing with that. Most wanted to continue adding.
But yea, signing Lynn and Gibson was probably the right thing to do if they really wanted to compete that year, but it obviously would have been a lot better if we had pitchers like Fitts and Dobbins, like we just traded for, who could fill those innings while costing way less money, which would have allowed us to maybe pursue help elsewhere.
