I respectfully disagree on multiple fronts.Carp4Cy wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 12:50 pmThen everyone got tired and couldn’t wait for the season to be over around Sept 15. JJW never got promoted. Just went home when Memphis was done. Doyle got all of 3 IP. No one of significance went to AFL either.woofy25 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 04:53 amDon’t the cardinals all the sudden have nearly the top rated farm system in baseball?Carp4Cy wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 21:36 pmThe question was about our 29th ranked offense.cardstatman wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 20:23 pm Gray for May saved $7.5M and netted 2 prospects: Fitts and Clarke.
They owed Gray $40M/1yr or $65M/2yr.
They are now paying Gray $20M/0yr and May $12.5M/1yr for a total of $32.5M/1yr.
May won't likely cover all of the innings Gray would have covered, but Fitts + May together should get those innings covered.
For a team that is supposed to be rebuilding there sure is a lot of building that isn’t happening. We did not even send a top five prospect to AFL if I’m not mistaken.
I get that we have to handle pitchers with kid gloves and be afraid they might break but hitters need to hit. Probably year round until they perfect the art.
There hasn’t been much notable progress in our farms physical development for 13 weeks now, while creative options are out there.
Correction above……Prospect return Won’t stock the future of teamGoldfan wrote: ↑21 Dec 2025 20:33 pm Spent a good portion of yesterday through 3 different thread with a couple of rude, uninformed, emotional, name calling posters telling me how stupid I am for rationally pointing out this is a salary dump exercise and the prospect return WILL stock this team with it’s future…..and less than 24hrs later
Bloom helps solidify my point……Priceless![]()

I think ya’ll will remember the day before the Gray trade I stressed that Bloom needed to get in the game and was also Chastised by the uninformed
Turn in to the same handle if you wish to know where this team is going and pay close attention to the timing
Them fellas sure learned me good yesterday![]()

Because you choose to ignore reality doesn’t make you right and I see you still haven’t figured out what a salary dump is or a rebuildGoldfan wrote: ↑21 Dec 2025 20:33 pm Spent a good portion of yesterday through 3 different thread with a couple of rude, uninformed, emotional, name calling posters telling me how stupid I am for rationally pointing out this is a salary dump exercise and the prospect return WILL stock this team with it’s future…..and less than 24hrs later

We all know what a rebuild is. Also we know they often don’t work out. Expect to be disappointed by the returns from these trades until they actually prove something at the MLB level.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑21 Dec 2025 20:39 pmBecause you choose to ignore reality doesn’t make you right and I see you still haven’t figured out what a salary dump is or a rebuildGoldfan wrote: ↑21 Dec 2025 20:33 pm Spent a good portion of yesterday through 3 different thread with a couple of rude, uninformed, emotional, name calling posters telling me how stupid I am for rationally pointing out this is a salary dump exercise and the prospect return WILL stock this team with it’s future…..and less than 24hrs later

Let me make sure I understand your point. It sounds like you are saying that the prospects that Bloom is collecting don’t matter, and that MLB locks in rosters for the season in December. That is some sound logic. Keep up the good work. You’re rockin’ baseball analysis.
