Years ago I was at a Mizzou game against George Washington and sat behind the Antlers.
They were chanting "Moscow on the Potomic"!
Hopefully they can come up with something similar for this bunch of Bolsheviks.

The Antlers need to use "the Miracle on Ice Theme" where Gates imitates Herb Brooks and rallies the Tigers over the Illini Russians.HoopsGuruII wrote: ↑16 Dec 2025 20:49 pm Years ago I was at a Mizzou game against George Washington and sat behind the Antlers.

As I stated before, Underwood can be Viktor Tikhonov (Sonofavich), the Russian coach. Underwood could "fit right in" as the Russian coach.
If the Illini loses, some of these Illini Russians will be sent back to Russia and be part of the "Russian Meat Grinder" in Ukraine.
Underwood paid good money to the Russians for these players and they better not fail.
I just wonder if Underwood (Tikhonov) doctored birth certificates, passports, and "grades" to get these guys in the US.
Re: Ill-Annoy Roster
have watched them play parts of several games and as of today would think they will handle Tigers without a lot of difficulty. Hope to be proven wrong but too much disjointed play and little defense.
Billikens have beaten up common opponents MU has played by a big margin. They really upgraded their roster much more than Gates did and they are fundamentally better.
Good news is Tigers look like bottom feeders can focus attention more on Illini and Billikens being in STL. Wait till next year for MU

Maybe you can find a way to blame Moore for that. I'm sure you would have no problem doing that.

You need to know that NONE of the Illini players are from Russia. You should also know that these players from Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro are not fond of the country that forcibly occupied their nations for many years.straight out of st louis robert ave wrote: ↑16 Dec 2025 21:29 pmThe Antlers need to use "the Miracle on Ice Theme" where Gates imitates Herb Brooks and rallies the Tigers over the Illini Russians.HoopsGuruII wrote: ↑16 Dec 2025 20:49 pm Years ago I was at a Mizzou game against George Washington and sat behind the Antlers.

this one never gets old --- i apologize if some take this as political, it was from 'the onion' --- so that should tell it all.
Clinton Deploys Vowels to Bosnia
(originally appeared in The Onion, Number One In News)
Cities of Sjlbvdnzv, Grzny to Be First Recipients
Before an emergency joint session of Congress yesterday, President Clinton announced US plans to deploy over 75,000 vowels to the war-torn region of Bosnia. The deployment, the largest of its kind in American history, will provide the region with the critically needed letters A,E,I,O and U, and is hoped to render countless Bosnian names more pronounceable.
"For six years, we have stood by while names like Ygrjvslhv and Tzlynhr and Glrm have been horribly butchered by millions around the world," Clinton said. "Today, the United States must finally stand up and say 'Enough.' It is time the people of Bosnia finally had some vowels in their incomprehensible words. The US is proud to lead the crusade in this noble endeavour."
The deployment, dubbed Operation Vowel Storm by the State Department, is set for early next week, with the Adriatic port cities of Sjlbvdnzv and Grzny slated to be the first recipients. Two C-130 transport planes, each carrying over 500 24-count boxes of "E's," will fly from Andrews Air Force Base across the Atlantic and airdrop the letters over the cities.
Citizens of Grzny and Sjlbvdnzv eagerly await the arrival of the vowels. "My God, I do not think we can last another day," Trszg Grzdnjkln, 44, said. "I have six children and none of them has a name that is understandable to me or to anyone else. Mr. Clinton, please send my poor, wretched family just one 'E.' Please."
Said Sjlbvdnzv resident Grg Hmphrs, 67: "With just a few key letters, I could be George Humphries. This is my dream."
The airdrop represents the largest deployment of any letter to a foreign country since 1984. During the summer of that year, the US shipped 92,000 consonants to Ethiopia, providing cities like Ouaouoaua, Eaoiiuae, and Aao with vital, life-giving supplies of L's, S's and T's.

Re: Ill-Annoy Roster
Even though the twins, Zvonimir Ivisic and Tomislav Ivisic and Mickovic and Petrovic are Croatians, Coach Underwood (Coach Sonofavich if you may) wants the Croations to "THINK IN RUSSIAN".
Just think of the 1972 Olympic Championship Basketball game where the Russians cheated the Americans out of the championship by changing the rules.
This is why Underwood says to the Croatians "Think In Russian".
There is a 1982 Movie "Fire Fox" where Clint Eastwood stole a Russian Prototype Jet Plane where he kept saying "think in Russian". He stole the plane by "thinking in Russian"
Underwood (Coach Sonofavich) uses that concept as his bible when he recruits Balkan players.
He always tells them: "Think In Russian".
This is why I say the Illini are composed of Russian players.
The Balkan players are required by Underwood to "Major in Russian".
