HAVE to rework the formulae as James Madison nor Tulane had any reason to be in Playoffs except if there was a G5 one, which they absolutely should. ND and Vandy should have been in there and would have been more competitive.
Turns out Lane was NOT calling plays simply advising during. C Weiss Jr was the playcaller all season and his offense in playoff game looks just like they did all year. Lane was instrumental in putting team together with superb recruiting and especially Portal work. But the Coordinators were running the team all year and they look fired up for the playoffs.
Many fans now admit they knew who Lane was when he was hired but it really elevated Rebels fb so it was worth it. Now they can turn that pure hatred Quitter Kiffin for motivation.
Ole Miss running right over weak Tulane team.

Rooting for Ole Miss thru playoffs because how fitting would it be if they Won the NC without his traitor selfish butt? Would add to the Quittin Kiffin legacy.

Lacy just injured his shoulder and Chambliss seems to have injured his head.

Tulane and James Madison’s performances today are evidence that the 12 best teams based on merit need to be in the playoffs.

Yeah I didn't even watch either game.Armchair QB wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 20:29 pm Tulane and James Madison’s performances today are evidence that the 12 best teams based on merit need to be in the playoffs.
I have a feeling TV ratings will dictate here.
My guess the ratings for both games were much less than the previous two games.
Don't know how all that works when it comes to the financials but it can't be favorable.

They were on TNT which doesn’t help. Not exactly must see tv for 2 games that SHOULD be must see tv. NCAA needs to fix this.11WSChamps wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 20:52 pmYeah I didn't even watch either game.Armchair QB wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 20:29 pm Tulane and James Madison’s performances today are evidence that the 12 best teams based on merit need to be in the playoffs.

Pretty much the same score from three months ago at only half the price.
