Re: Buch trade rumor
To be fair its not an anonymous Twitter account making up a rumor, its an anonymous Twitter account reposting what David Pagnotta said on Inside Sports.sdaltons wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 15:06 pm As OP has been told multiple times, anonymous Twitter accounts are not sources. I can create an account today with "nhl rumor" in the title and tweet that Jordan Binnington demanded a trade. Or even that I heard a respected source say something, but no one else heard it and I don't have a link to back it up. So could any of you. Doesn't make it real.

It’s legit, you can listen to the podcast. Pagnotta talks about the Blues with about 9 minutes left. He talks about Buch as the tweet suggests and then he also mentions that Kyrou is possibly open to a trade as well.sdaltons wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 15:06 pm As OP has been told multiple times, anonymous Twitter accounts are not sources. Ah, I didn't even click this time since OP so frequently posts nonsenseWalter Sobchak00 wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 15:35 pmTo be fair its not an anonymous Twitter account making up a rumor, its an anonymous Twitter account reposting what David Pagnotta said on Inside Sports.sdaltons wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 15:06 pm As OP has been told multiple times, anonymous Twitter accounts are not sources. Wasn't paying too much attention but thought that's what I heard/saw.
There were a few Blues chances that had opportunities the issue i saw was the inability to create more chances something like 8 SOG by the Blues halfway thru the game

I post rumors. Could care less if you find them to be legit. We can discuss the legitimacy of the rumors but too many on this board have nothing to contribute other than dissing and attacking other people's posts. I said that I don't know if it's legitimate. It's something to discuss. Please block me then you won't have to read posts that don't meet your standards.sdaltons wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 15:54 pmAh, I didn't even click this time since OP so frequently posts nonsenseWalter Sobchak00 wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 15:35 pmTo be fair its not an anonymous Twitter account making up a rumor, its an anonymous Twitter account reposting what David Pagnotta said on Inside Sports.sdaltons wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 15:06 pm As OP has been told multiple times, anonymous Twitter accounts are not sources. We have to have the fewest 1 timers in the league. They are never ready to unleash one. Another thing is when we go in on a 3 on 2 they stay in a straight line rather than one skater drifting back for a layered attack. JMOwe tee it up too much. One timers are the prescription.

You’ve been around for a long time. Continue to post anything you find as newsworthy. We are all scouring for information here and we don’t always catch everything. Re: Buch trade rumor
Im certain if Buch gets a reset somewhere new he regains his form. That player holds a lot of value for some teams out there and I’m sure he’s ready for change just as much if not more than anyone else.
That said, the guys brain is made of glass and his situation here has become untenable because of that. A trade would be the best thing for him and the locker room.

Re: Buch trade rumor
Yeah, I agree. And the teams that would be able to take him on, he probably wouldn’t waive for. As an example, the Hawks, Sharks, CBJ and Ducks all have mountains of cap space and quite a few expiring vet contracts who are 2-3 years older than Buch. Well, maybe not the Ducks, but the others for sure. As they continue to rebuild, would they take him on as a veteran presence to replace the older expiring contracts? Hawks have a little over $12m coming off just in Foligno (38) and Weber (40).
I’m just dreaming, but that’s the only type scenario I could see with that bloated contract. It would cost us a pick and prospect would be my guess.

Re: Buch trade rumor
I see posts on X from this David Pagnotta guy almost daily for the past month+ about how “the Blues are open for business”. Just re-worded each time with a new name thrown in there. This is the first I’ve seen Buch mentioned thou

Re: Buch trade rumor
Pagnotta has a few rumors or first report situations, but is overall eklund like in his trade rumor thoughts. Most of the time it's just nonsense.
I think the 'open for business' is mostly just a GM tactic to get the attention of some of the underachievers at this point in the season. Thats just my view on it though, but hey i can't have any less credibility than Pagnotta has right now.
