Re: Who goes when we get healthy
Stenberg doesn't require waivers to be sent down, barring trades when people are healthy all things equal he'll go back down.
He's going to need to outplay the others to remain in St Louis, if its close he'll be sent back.

Re: Who goes when we get healthy
The 4th lines really not the problem with this team but whenever a team needs to make "changes" they always seem to blame/focus on the 4th line. I think Joseph, Toro and Walker are the only ones on the team actually playing anywhere near my expectations. It's everyone else above them in the lineup that's suckinazz. Top line can't score. 2nd line can't score. 3rd line can defend but not well enough to make up for the top 6 not scoring. The 4th line is supposed to bring some energy and get some momentum going but that all disappears as soon as they get off the ice because the other 3 lines are all duds with no heart.
This team still needs a 1C (Thomas should be a 2C) and bigger better defense. 5 years running now.

Joesph and Sunny will be 2 of the first to go depending how Fabbri plays. Dvorsky is here to stay. Stenberg looks good and if he doesn't get sent down he will probably be on the roster next year. Berggren looks really good as well.

Re: Who goes when we get healthy
No matter how we get a player (offer sheet, trade, waivers) from other team roster, that player is WAY BETTER than anything on our roster, and we are not picking up Gretzkys.
The guy that has to go is Army.

Luff just reassigned to Springfield.
Re: Who goes when we get healthy
There’s zero chance Sunny goes anywhere. Monty and the organization loves the guy JAG that he is. He’s on the PP and PK it’s like he’s a 60-70 pt a year guy.Bluesfan1978 wrote: ↑18 Dec 2025 19:53 pm Joesph and Sunny will be 2 of the first to go depending how Fabbri plays. Dvorsky is here to stay. He shouldn't be on the PP, but he is big, fearless, and no one on the team is smarter than him on the ice. He actually has just under half as many PP goals as Kyrou over the past two seasons in 26 less games played. That shows you what intelligence and fearlessness can do....Bacchk29 wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 09:15 amThere’s zero chance Sunny goes anywhere. Monty and the organization loves the guy JAG that he is. He is excellent on the PK and we need excellence there now as every goal allowed becomes a mountain for this team to climb.

Re: Who goes when we get healthy
Not sure Harry. That Luff move leaves them with only a 21-man roster right now. They can activate two more guys before having to make any other decisions. My gut tells me they activate Bjug in time for the two games in Florida but don’t play him unless necessary. Then they get the holiday roster freeze and save some cap space by only having 22 players on the roster. Then Kyrou gets activated on the 27th for the Preds game.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 10:02 amUh oh, down to

After the holiday break and before the rest of the walking wounded return, I could see Monty trying to reunite the old top line that occasionally catches fire. Although he’ll have the blender going for sure. My guess though on what we see.
Buch - Thomas - Kyrou
Berggren - Dvorsky - Suter
Neighbours - Schenn - Stenberg
Torpo - Sunny - Joseph
Extras - Fabbri & Bjug

Correct. And he is paid fairly for what he contributes when needed, which is/has been rather often. I like the rolling 1-year contracts for older guys that still have some left in the tank, as long as they are not overpriced. We did the same concept with Bouwmeister. It's important that neither side gets greedy.DawgDad wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 09:58 am^^^Harry York 37 wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 09:26 amHe shouldn't be on the PP, but he is big, fearless, and no one on the team is smarter than him on the ice. That 4th line are all UFAs, move them once players start getting healthy, they are useless for the future of the Blues.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 10:45 am After the holiday break and before the rest of the walking wounded return, I could see Monty trying to reunite the old top line that occasionally catches fire. 2 years ago nobody in the league wanted him. Too slow. He’s only valued here. Maybe part of the reason the team is where they are.Old_Goat wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 10:56 amCorrect.
