They need to put Dvorsky in those situations. He has to learn. He could have stepped up when the puck was loose and possibly led a 2-1 rush the other way in OT and instead he just stood there and the Blues have no one like JT Miller who has strength, fire, ability and just plays with that endge that F U you're not going to beat me.

I agree. The vets have been doing stupid things in OT all season. When you are are 0-8 in OT you might as well use Dvorsky, Stenberg, Snuggerud, Mailloux, etc, we have already seen Buch, Schenn and Kyrou do the exact same thing this year in OT that 54 did last night.DawgDad wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 06:26 amThey need to put Dvorsky in those situations. JT Miller has been kicked off of two teams because of his attitude. We don't want JT Miller.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑18 Dec 2025 21:49 pm F this team and F Parayko.

Hard to be upset about this team going 1-0-1 in back to backs with only 2 regulation goals given up. Two newly acquired players and rookies/AHLers called up. It's like a new team, and you can tell they've focused on team D as a priority this week. They've set the foundation for the system. Now they are playing like a team, a 5 man unit, and they can expand on that with more confidence going forward, which should lead to more scoring and perhaps regulation wins.
Unless Stenberg really drops off, I don't see how they send him back down. He looks the part.
Berggren has been one of our best players. Both he and Stenberg have brought energy, but Berggren really is a player. Still want to know what happened with him in Detroit. Is he just motivated after being waived and selected? Will he fall off? Or can he be a real player for us?
The team is starting to come together. I hope Fabbri is good to go.
I didn’t feel awful at the result.Back to backs against stellar goalies with every playmakig forward out except Thomas - and we are one overtime play away from all four points…
Nice to see EVERYONE buying in on every shift.
The kids have to learn, and there will be significant hiccups.
Vitale is Mom-bait, II guess. He brings colors to the broadcast that belong in a middle school home room. He must be a good guy to have the career he is having, but I wonder what Panger might be observing, in his place. And I am sure I would regret missing it.

I was in sect 101 last night the Rangers checked well and lets face it with all the Blues injuries to skill guys its pretty easy to bottle up the Blues offense. I thought Berggren looked good lots of skill he made at least 3 high end passes that could have been goals. Stenberg looked good although i dont like how Otto is #28 and Berggren is #29 and they basically are the same size, very confusing. It looked like the regulation goal Binnington allowed was pretty soft but again its hard to win by scoring one goal. i wasnt too disappointed the result wasnt surprising. Monty is getting the most out of the hand hes dealt

went off a players skate, purposefully I might add, so it was a deflection. Nothing soft about it.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 08:50 am I was in sect 101 last night the Rangers checked well and lets face it with all the Blues injuries to skill guys its pretty easy to bottle up the Blues offense. Berggren has been a really pleasant surprise so far, but time (and probably not a whole lot of time) will tell. I think players can sometimes play inspired after getting a positive change of scenery, but then become their old selves once they settle in (Fowler?). I love that he seems to immediately have some chemistry with Dvo though.zamadoo wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 06:08 amI thought they were great.Section315 wrote: ↑18 Dec 2025 22:08 pm Lou Korac and Jeremy Rutherford were sure getting chubbies tweeting about Stenberg and Berggen tonight. Re: GDT: Rags at Blues 7:00 FanDuel
Amazing shot! He also had some great passes last night that almost led to goals. Sometimes it’s simply a matter of being in the right situation and feeling comfortable. Maybe Detroit wasn’t that for him. But he apparently has played with Broberg, and feels really comfortable with Sunny. Given all of the injuries with the Blues, it’s a great opportunity for him. I could see him fitting in nicely with either Dvorsky or Thomas.moose-and-squirrel wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 09:01 amprolly so, but that shot last night.. wowzersZiggy3 wrote: ↑19 Dec 2025 08:58 am

Breggren in the moment looks like a better rounded player than the other roster fillers have been. He's still relatively young and he has an NHL track record.
Stenberg is showing he has a future in the NHL, he can play at this level. He's been versatile, strong on the puck, willing to block shots, and his hockey sense is a plus.
