it would be wonderful if Roberts decides to stay. But if he moves on, I hope Davis reconsiders and re-ups at Mizzou. A Hardy/Davis combo would be comparable to the Hardy/Roberts combo. I would hope Drinkwitz has pointed that out to Davis.

Drink needs to show them film of White and Bush from USC, and explain how they made it to the NFL

@PowerMizzoucom
Eli Drinkwitz making a public plea to Jamal Roberts to remain at #Mizzou. Says Missouri is basically having to beg him to take less to stay with Ahmad Hardy returning to the roster.
Re: Good to see Hardy is so committed to Mizzou, also
How much less, I wonder. And which teams are ready to pay Roberts beyond Missouri's means?
Re: Good to see Hardy is so committed to Mizzou, also
I would guess plenty of teams would pay plenty to nab Jamal.
Anyone have a website that shows anything on estimated NIL values for Missouri players?

I have good news for you. YOU can make Mizzou one of those teams.
Put together a group of posters, like icon, 148, Rex, Rod, Red, Jack and the two Georgia honks, and pool some money to keep Roberts here
Or, you and those others can do nothing and continue to post complaints and doomsday scenarios.

College football and basketball is now pro sports, without contracts. The Wild, Wild West, as has been stated, many times before.

It's OK if a player wants to shop around but my view is schools shouldn't get in bidding wars over players, HS or transfer. Tell them all about your school and program and coaches and what you see as your and their future, then make your money offer. If it's not good enough, tell them fine good luck maybe we'll see you down the road.

Is that how Georgia does it?jcgmoi wrote: ↑17 Dec 2025 11:36 am It's OK if a player wants to shop around but my view is schools shouldn't get in bidding wars over players, HS or transfer. They sell the University and the abundance of rural highways where the speed limit is just a suggestion.

If you want to know how anybody "does it" I think you should ask your mommy and daddy to explain.
Georgia sells the idea that they can develop talent better than anyone else.

keep waiting to see announcement that Beau is entering TP. THAT's when MU will have a chance to have a real offense next season.
Or wonder if Eli is going to do the ole hire really good OC who brings his outstanding QB with him?

The Eli thing would be to let Pribula and Zollers have a faux competition for the starter role. He heaped praise on Pribula after he put up 6 points against OU and 25 yards passing against Arky. Not to mention 3 whole points against a pitiful Vandy D in his 2+ quarters in that game. That's where this program is now -- falling behind Vandy. And that was worthy of a brand-new contract?
