Re: Robert Bortuzzo returning to the Blues organization
I thought I heard Chaser talking about him on Monday's telecast coming back...
Re: Robert Bortuzzo returning to the Blues organization
He was a guy who took pride in the sweater and I'm not sure all of the current staff does to any extent. Sounds like he will mainly be scouting but maybe he could have some role with the current players. Let him on the ice for a few practices and see if he can get their attention.
Re: Robert Bortuzzo returning to the Blues organization
I think he may have been hired for the sole purpose of fighting someone in practice in order to turn this season around

He gives a [shirt], bring more former Blues like him back in to instill the pride and passion in the note, and start weeding out these vanilla goin through the motions turds who are happy just collecting checks.

You certainly notice the absence of his type when you go thru a season like this so far. The appreciation for him grows in my opinion.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑17 Dec 2025 11:07 am Bortz is one the great Blues in history. He doesn’t get enough credit

Com’on man he’s NOT one of the “great Blues” in history. He’s had a journeyman caliber playing career.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑17 Dec 2025 11:07 am Bortz is one the great Blues in history. He doesn’t get enough credit
