If he's healthy, might as well stick him in the lineup until he also inevitably gets hurt. We're losing an average of 1 player per game right?

McGing was one of the best Blues players on the ice last night.

Put the three forwards on a line. Maybe they'll find some magic!

The guy had 15 goals in 67 games as a rookie a few years ago, so he had potential. Not sure what has happened since then, but maybe he just needs a fresh start. No risk for the Blues, obviously.

If they can get him straight this is a decent pick-up for today and the future. Joseph, Sunny, and Torop are all UFA after the season and SHOULD NOT BE RE-UP'D.

The book on him from the Detroit fans is that he is an excellent skater with offensive upside. He is the worst defending forward on their roster. They use him in the bottom 6.

Reclamation projects are always worth it, especially those with RFA status. Hopefully new environment works out. Otherwise you just ditch once the guys are healthy. The one good thing the Blues have going for them is they have a million sweds' throughout the org. Level of comfortability could be high which might enable him to find something.

Won’t take long before this guy is in Monty’s doghouse on a continual basis

Hence part of the problem with Monty in that Thomas, Fowler, Schenn, Neighbours, Buch and Sunny have all COMPLETELY avoided his doghouse with some of their stretches of play this season, yet others get put in the crosshairs after very few mistakes. His accountability scheme is very preferential and therefore completely ineffective IMHO.

Back to the player. Not a needle mover but at least has some NHL experience.
