You'd think with as many goals the other team scores by just throwing the puck at the net that somebody on the Blues might take note.
I know, right. It's like the offensive rush is where the Blues go to die. I'd say 9 out of 10 offensive rushes either end with a turnover or a dump and chase that yields neither shot nor pressure and often just comes right back down their own throat.
Without cynicism or anger, the real question for me becomes can we beat out Van and Nash and Cal for that top pick? If McKenna is as good as people are saying that could be the only saving grace of this disaster of a season.
Really this is the worst time for Hofer to go belly up.
He's let in 3 weak ones tonight.
The whole team is getting outplayed but these goals against are too soft and easy. This team ain't going nowhere....

I know that injuries have made it necessary to some degree, but it seems like the lines are different every game. That makes it really difficult for guys to develop any sort of chemistry. Maybe rather than looking for some magic combination it would be better to let them play together for a few weeks.

Yep just when it appears we have a goalie to rely on. Binner will get a chance to get the net back next game. My guess is he will but then will lose it the game after. Rinse repeat
Poor effort, poor decisions, poor goaltending, and poor coaching tonight.
Hope some of the walking wounded get back sooner than later. This group is just bad.
Has there been a worse 2nd period team? I realize that tonight they have a minor league lineup but this is ridiculous. It's not like we're playing Colorado or some other good team. The only way that this team can be competitive is for the goalie to stand on their head and that only happens about once every two weeks.

Not even enjoyable to watch anymore.
You actually are allowed to stop watching if you want. It's a pretty new rule they made AFAIK

Yep I really don't mind them rotating games if they are winning. It just seems like they need to win now and both goalies are Swiss cheese. What a disappointing season.

It's infuriating watching them pass it around the perimeter for 30 seconds only to have the puck hop over the defensemans stick out of the zone.
A lot of posts in this thread saying, "I know they are decimated by injuries but how can they be this bad??"
Like that's literally how.
They have 2 NHL lines right now and one of them has Mathieu Joseph on it. Even bad teams can defend against that. Couple that with the goalie struggling tonight and it's really not complicated.

They were just so bad to start the season I think that forced Montgomery to mix things up early and often and now all the injuries. Just seems like one of those lost seasons at this point. Hopefully they will suck rest of year and get a top 3 pick, they really need one.
