No way anybody at the start of the season would have had Luff, McGing, Dvo, and Fabbri on their bingo cards. Good grief. Not to mention Joseph playing in the top 6.hotrivets wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 11:40 am Thanks for the offers from some of you to lace em up but we are looking at this instead:

Re: GDT: Preds at Blues 7:00 FanDuel
this is totally a prayer, but according to Ottawa fans. Joseph is a guy that can move up to 2nd line and not look bad. I think we ourselves have seen flashes of that play this year. At least it's a veteran 2nd line. I don't think Fabbri has the wheels he once did, but if he's fast enough out there, Joseph provides good speed so it should be similar to when Schenn was doing well with 2 fast guys last year.Backesdraft wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 12:07 pmNo way anybody at the start of the season would have had Luff, McGing, Dvo, and Fabbri on their bingo cards. I'm curious about the 4th line. This is the bad part about having young guys with "skill". They aren't necessarily 4th line guys, but you would think there would be a logical callup that pairs well with torpedo and sunny. Those guys could play a solid 4th line game. I guess Luff brings nice size so you have that at least going for that line.

Worst part about all these injuries is there's no future "potential" stars to bring up early to get excited about.
It's just patching holes in a sinking ship with whatever kind of duct tape will work.

Joseph with two points tonight. I typed “pints” at first, but that will be me.He leaves it ALL on the ice…
This is not a …bad… lineup.
Second unit PP needs to step up, and they just might.
Every single player is competing on every shift. It’s a shame we don’t have the elite talent available to keep them worried and in their own zone a lot.

Yep. Two are in the lineup, one on IR. Nobody that appears ready to break out, no prospect help from Springfield. Hopefully Dvorsky and Mailloux crank it up but I'm not holding my breath.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 14:07 pm Worst part about all these injuries is there's no future "potential" stars to bring up early to get excited about.

This is an exhibition game lineup we’d expect to see in September. It may surprise for one game, maybe two but it’s not NHL caliberHarry York 37 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 14:25 pm Joseph with two points tonight. I typed “pints” at first, but that will be me.He leaves it ALL on the ice…

Re: GDT: Preds at Blues 7:00 FanDuel
Was just telling my wife that the Blues have a lot of injuries and we've got all these randoms and scrubs up and down the lineup (told her Fabbri's whole story and how he went from a bum on skid row to our top 6 in 3 days, we're just hopeful he will hold up until someone returns). I said the thing is, with those hustlers in the lineup we've played better the past several gamesnetboy65 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 16:08 pmThis is an exhibition game lineup we’d expect to see in September. It can turn on an unlikely accident.zamadoo wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 17:25 pmWas just telling my wife that the Blues have a lot of injuries and we've got all these randoms and scrubs up and down the lineup (told her Fabbri's whole story and how he went from a bum on skid row to our top 6 in 3 days, we're just hopeful he will hold up until someone returns). Youneverknow.but the thing is (really) that it's a nice bump that really only lasts several games. But, with now 3 of the Gloria 5 in the organization (including Bortz), we're closer to where we were and need to be. If we could only get Schwartz and Ed back for the full house...
They could get slaughtered, for sure.
Breathing large and smiling when I can.
