Marmol needs to make urgency part of his managing process because up till now he has shown none.

I would add number 5 and say bloom actually has a plan and a direction and it’s not just hope to squeak in somehow and pray for miraclesramfandan wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 07:52 am https://redbirdrants.com/4-ways-chaim-b ... mistakes/5

Agree with your Bloom id not ‘hoping and praying for a miracle’.Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 08:15 amI would add number 5 and say bloom actually has a plan and a direction and it’s not just hope to squeak in somehow and pray for miraclesramfandan wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 07:52 am https://redbirdrants.com/4-ways-chaim-b ... mistakes/5

If that was the case, we may be seeing Goold, Hochman writing articles with headlines .. Bloom is praying for Miracle on Clarke St.

6. Hiring MLB scouts to scour the league for potential major league trade targets
7. Actually still working after the Winter Meetings to make trades and sign free agents, unlike the former POBO who to many times made his one move and wasn't heard from again till mid season
8. Actually having a L-T plan

Re: 4 ways Chaim Bloom is already rectifying John Mozeliak's mistakes
When we look back at how things went off the rails, Mozeliak is (quite deservedly) the face of the downfall but we don't need to forget Dewitt's complicity in all of this.Coincidentally, the cracks in the organization started popping up following the 2019 season, particularly when it came to player development.
Rather than spend money on coaches and support staff, John Mozeliak and the Cardinals front office and ownership groups preferred spending on the major-league roster.
...
He has put in place the right man to get things turned around. All we can hope is that Dewitt Jr, and Dewitt III, can see things through to fruition.

Bwaaaahahaha!!!! When Bloom achieves his top goals (if he can) he will be Mr. Mo! Is there anything but a 90 win season with great deals like Goldy and Nado with all that winning that is better? Show me! You all wrecked cards baseball and turned us into the Reds and Pirates. Even if (If) you succeed you might be the 2022 Cards!! Eat
you all suck for being such arrogant phony wannabe "best fans in baseball". You're fighting for Dodgers scraps like May at this point and Friedman is Blooms daddy. Because common sense!

Really? The Cards were better than the Dodgers, competitive with the Phillies, beat the Braves etc with Mr. Mo. The stands were packed and rocking with happy fans! You all wanted to tear that down and bash on it. So where is this better? We will be lucky to not finish behind Pittsburgh right now, especially if you all get your way!Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 09:00 amlol it’s okay your tears will dryIke Hammett wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 08:58 am Bwaaaahahaha!!!! That'll probably be easier now that we have a POBO who seems to have a pulse.Bomber1 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 07:58 amI love the sense of urgency.ramfandan wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 07:52 am https://redbirdrants.com/4-ways-chaim-b ... mistakes/5

All teams are good until they aren’t the cardinals were then weren’t and needed to be fixed because of the damage mo did in destroying the organization. But don’t worry like I said your tears will dryIke Hammett wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 09:09 amReally? The Cards were better than the Dodgers, competitive with the Phillies, beat the Braves etc with Mr. Mo. How much urgency though? Why is Oli still here? And who is dropping rumors of a contract extension talks?ramfandan wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 07:52 am https://redbirdrants.com/4-ways-chaim-b ... mistakes/5

WERE being the key word. I have no doubt John Mozaliak will be a Cardinal Hall of Famer. But the last 8 years has been tough as a fan. They became overly cautious and patient, and have lacked a vision.Ike Hammett wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 09:09 amReally? Get outta here! Mr. Mo didn't destroy "our" team, he did everything possible to make us competitive! You destroy it with your boycotts and calling for change. Mr. Mo and Mr. DeWitt belong in the Hall of Fame, you loons belong behind the Pirates and Reds, Brewers. You want this enjoy! I will still be the one showing up, will you?Ozziesfan41 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 09:20 amAll teams are good until they aren’t the cardinals were then weren’t and needed to be fixed because of the damage mo did in destroying the organization.
