Nope. The order is DeBoere to Michigan, Kiffin to Alabama then Drinkwitz to LSU.

It's good to see a member of the vocal minority finally start a thread with the understanding of how much Drink is respected by his peers.

They are just names folks need for their search and they can contact their agent but as I said thru all this [nonsense] coaching carousel Eli isn't going anywhere as he would be expected to BEAT all those teams like OSU, PSU and OR consistantly and be under tremendous pressure from first day there. They are a CFB Blue Blood and you can bet the fans would be booing when he showed up at any of these schools press conferences. He has incredible security and a tame fan base and admin who loves him.

Nope forget all this silliness. Could see Deboers going to MI as even getting into playoffs is NOT near enough for entitled Tide fans. Legend is very upset and so are most folks who regularly call in to Pawwwlllll's show. When they get whacked in first or second round they will be in full tar and feather run him out of town on a rail mode. He isn't a good fit for southern culture and SEC but would fit right into B!G and a school like MI.

HOW fantastic would it be if he did go to MI and having opening at Bama! all the Uber intense celebrating LSU fans would be crushed to wake up and realize the Bama jet had landed in Baton Rouge and Quittin Kiffin was gone! So Delicious I and so many across country would be thrilled at such a development.

I always thought Jesse Minter should have gotten the Michigan job but maybe he's set on being a NFL coach. I'd certainly reach out to see if he's interested.

I'd be shocked if Drinkwitz is the hire. About the only two things he does well are: 1) Talk a good game and 2) Back it up against lesser programs.

Big Brands don't settle for second tier coaches with no track record against other big brands. I saw one MI site discussion board who were insulted at the very idea of bringing his name to the party. LOL.

If his tenure at Mizzou is any indication, he wouldn’t last very long at a place that cares about substance as much as it does show. Drink’s VERY good at show. But he hasn’t turned his high level recruits into a disciplined yeah team able to beat the big boys. His tenure at Mizzou has been successful and it’s hard to dispute that. But, the problems with little things: team discipline, special teams, penalties, clock management, along with general offensive design, the things higher level people see and care about (especially at a storied program like Michigan)—would become obvious pretty quickly. Though Drink would undoubtedly pull off some fantastic recruits, his ego would probably get in the way of success-and success at Michigan is national championship or bust (and beating Ohio State). Heck, maybe he’s got one special year or two in him, and perhaps he’s capable of change for the better. But I wouldn’t bet on it and if I’m Michigan I’d steer very clear.

Surprised Michigan would even consider Drinkwitz after he made that crack about Connor Stalions before the bowl game against Ohio State.
