Re: Blues Announcers
I’ll take the current duo over anything with Rivers
Regarding radio I rarely got to listen bc out of market but I liked Chase in the booth a lot. Was nice to hear his voice on the tv broadcast the other night

I have one of those! I bought it off a Facebook ad at the time. It wasn’t that pricey iirc ($30 maybe?) Yes the broadcast in the shape of the Cup, plus the whole thing is printed on top of a copy of Gloria sheet musicTAFKAP wrote: ↑13 Dec 2025 20:34 pmYou're welcome. Kerbs had the greatest call, for the greatest moment in Blues history.
Full Stop.
Screw anything else called by anyone. Perfection.

Kerbs and Joey on the second greatest call. Again Perfection.

Truly, TAFKAP, first I've heard these. Watched game on TV.
Two pucks for the links!
I love Joey with "This is not a dream St. Louis, let's party!!!"
There used to be a store in Kirkwood on Manchester that had a lot of handmade Etsy type stuff. Someone had a canvas for sale, it was ridiculously expensive, but it was the outline of the Cup made up of the transcript of the end of that Kerber call. I wish I'd have had the cash.

AWFUL, just Awful. !!1hotrivets wrote: ↑13 Dec 2025 08:38 am For you Lexie fans:
Jim Hayes is about to see his role on Cardinals broadcasts shrink considerably.
FanDuel Sports Network is overhauling how it handles pregame and postgame coverage across its regional footprint, and according to Dan Caesar of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, that means Hayes will work fewer games next season while Alexa Datt picks up more.

I watched the Nashville feed for the first period and they called more of what the Blues were doing then our guy did.
He also didn't have problems with names. I've never heard so many guys named Nashville or the Blues.
What sucks is it's clear management had a talk with them. Because they are now finding rookies to blaming for [shirt] play and cramming, 'getting to the front of the net, every chance they get.
Yet management said nothing to them about them calling the game.
One game mistakes are blamed on who really done them. The next
Both guys are searching for a rookie to blame.
Same with Net Front.
John, Jamie, Panger was made to do the same.
But what's (bleep) up. Nothing was said to them about, calling the play.
Only what was important to management. Got to them.
Re: Blues Announcers
That's a treasure for sure. This was a 2x4 oil canvas, white background, blue script. They wanted like $300 for it. It was beyond awesome seeing and listening to Chaser in the opposing (or was it the national) play by play booth for a good 30 minutes or so, I guess he wasnt wanted/needed in our amazing ghey by ghey booth, wouldnt wanna interrupt Kerbypoo and Vitaliman’s awesome insight or anything.
Best wishes to Chaser’s ongoing health probs. What a beast, and one helł of a human to be able to battle such a nasty disease for so long and still being able to sound so vibrant and have such an outstanding attitude.

Ok, I blew by the part where you said canvas. Mine’s just a poster that I then put in a frame.TAFKAP wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 11:23 amThat's a treasure for sure. Still though, $300 is nuts. They were just taking advantage of the euphoria I’m sure.

Re: Blues Announcers
You obviously didn't listen to Chase when he did color for Kerbs. It was the exact same thing. They'd crack a joke and it would be a running gag the entire game. It was entertaining, same as with Joey. That's what Blues Hockey has been on the radio for 20 years. It really hasn't changed much. For the love of God, I hope they do something different because the (bleep) about it is getting absurd. You think Kerber's bad, wait until he gets sick and they bring in Brandon Kylie. That was the only time I've listened to the opponent feed. I hope y'all get a new TV crew next year, and I hope we get a decent sweater for a third. I hate the new ones.SameOldBlues wrote: ↑14 Dec 2025 11:30 am It was beyond awesome seeing and listening to Chaser in the opposing (or was it the national) play by play booth for a good 30 minutes or so, I guess he wasnt wanted/needed in our amazing ghey by ghey booth, wouldnt wanna interrupt Kerbypoo and Vitaliman’s awesome insight or anything.

Are you people grown adults on this forum? You've been complaining about the play by play going on 3 months. Get over it.
Re: Blues Announcers
Yes it’s been a few months of this topic, but that’s because we had a major downgrade in the TV broadcast experience. Went from objectively one of the best tandems in the league with JK, Panger/Rivers to one of the worst. Joey Vitale is painful to listen to. I’ve literally ended up muting every game this year. And whenever we get the opposing team’s feed or a national broadcast it’s a huge breath of fresh air.

Re: Blues Announcers
The only reasonable solution is for the incessant complainers to start a GoFundMe account to pay whatever it takes to return Kelly & Pang to the Blues' broadcasts.
Git 'er done, folks, if it's that important to you.
