Love QH but the Wild are going to regret this one.
Re: Q Hughes to Wild for a HAUL
Especially since Hughes hasn't agreed to an extension yet.

That was my question. There must be a pending extension coming, right? Otherwise, that’s a massive overpay.
Edit: I guess technically he can’t sign until next summer

Holy balls…just got back from dinner and saw the breaking news report. If you’re a Canucks fan, you are beyond excited….what a great job by by Allvin.

Minny has been coming on and climbing the standings. This is a massive pickup for them. They’re a good team that just got better.

Wow. Buium and a first might be closer to fair value (esp considering QH isnt extended).

Not sure that's really a given.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2025 19:04 pmThat was my question. There must be a pending extension coming, right? Otherwise, that’s a massive overpay.
It should be, considering how much Minnesota gave up. But I'm not sure that it really is. Could easily end up like the Rantanen mess from last year.
Not that I'm opposed to Minnesota screwing up.

When you see this, just gives me more hope that a desperate team will make an offer for Parayko

I had edited my post. He’s not eligible to extend until this summer. Will be a very interesting story to follow for sure.kimzey59 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2025 19:10 pmNot sure that's really a given.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2025 19:04 pmThat was my question. Does seem like a huge risk w/o the extension for sure!TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2025 19:21 pmI had edited my post. He’s not eligible to extend until this summer.
