For all the talk about next year being way harder than this year, I just don’t see it. A little tougher, maybe.

So much will depend on if we lose key players in the portal and don’t do well in bringing in what we need. Drink has been very good at that. If all that is good in the off season, I like our chances to win at least 8-9 games and possibly a special season if we can reload on defense.

I was one of those that thought next years schedule was going to be much harder. I agree that while it might be a little tougher it's not brutal. That said at first glance without knowing the roster I see 8-4 or 7-5 as a realistic prediction. This could change drastically if they get excellent QB play.

I agree. Definitely tough, but not impossible to navigate. If you're going to be a CFP player and in the SEC, this is what you are going to have to get used to.

It looks more difficult than this year.

Georgia is better than Vanderbilt.
Texas is better than South Carolina
Mississippi is better than Auburn
Florida is on par with Alabama

We still play Mississippi State, aTm, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

4-4 in the SEC would be a great accomplishmnet.

Florida is not on par with Bama.

Ole Miss has a new coach, so we’ll see how things go for them in the off season. I’d expect them to be tough, but Auburn at Auburn this year was a very good win.

It’s an SEC schedule. 4 of our SEC games this year were playoff contenders. The others were tests and we passed them all.

Like I said, much for us will depend on our roster. As long as we’re able to retain our talent for the most part and reload where necessary we’ll compete just fine with that schedule.

Only seven home games next year. November should be a challenge again.

as usual MU will be out of any contention for anything by November. Preseason predictions will be for 6 wins.

Bunch of teams with new HC's and several are better than MU's already and if Eli loses his mind and keeps his incompetent OC they will probably be right. GA no shot, Aggies and Tejas will be very tough. MS state, FL, Ole miss, OU, KY and AR are where Tigers have to be successful or this will be season where they fall to bottom third of SEC. Have to say all the teams who fired their HC's hired guys who are very impressive and won their Press conferences. Something that Drink could never do. They could raise their programs to blow right past MU in the future as it is in a mediocre mode of too much security and no accountability.

This will be Eli's season where we see if he is worthy of being CEO of program or not. Or is the program in a doom loop for years to come. BUT if you want to be respected and compete for championships which IS his stated goal you have to BEAT the Big Brands not just show up for the games.

I don't know. Looks like a much tougher schedule to me.

Offense needs to get better in a hurry.

Literally impossible to say much until the NIL action is complete, that goes for Missouri and all their opponents.

How many players will Kiffen and other new coaches poach?

New OC, a good kicking game and what is hopefully a change in QB along with other new NIL arrivals.....sign me up.

The schedule makers probably had to draw lines to make the 4 home / 4 away schedule work conference wide. I’m guessing that was the only way to make ours and Arky’s schedules work.
