Justin Faulk might be my least favorite blue of all time. Can’t wait until that vag is off the team
Re: GDT: Blues at Preds 7:00 FanDuel
I’m not writing him off. He just hasn’t been very good at anything, YET.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:15 pm So we are writing DD off already at 20 lol he's been playing with a revolving bunch of scrubs no chemistry no scoring wingers. I'll circle back on this next year or so

Dang Binny!!! Why did you give up that 7th goal??? What the heck??
Re: GDT: Blues at Preds 7:00 FanDuel
No, not at all. I'm just commenting on what I see. The kid has ONE ES point! His offensive game at ES is non-existent, and he's regressing. Is he not getting coached up? Not taking the coaching? Simply overwhelmed?Harry S Deals wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:15 pm So we are writing DD off already at 20 lol he's been playing with a revolving bunch of scrubs no chemistry no scoring wingers. Starting to look like a football score.

I’ve shouted for years about this team’s poor roster construction and poor choices.WilliamWestcliffe wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 20:06 pm First and foremost this group of players is dog [shirt]. That’s been beaten to death.
That out of the way, there’s a real real real big problem behind the bench. The fundamentals in literally every single aspect are just atrocious: passing, skating, shooting, checking, coverage, break outs, power play…literally everything on the ice is so flawed it’s hard to believe this team has ever practiced.
I’m not sure how or where you even begin to fix this.
There’s been a lot of lows over this organizations history but never an era where it’s felt so stuck. This is a cap team with NMCs stuffed in every pocket.
I’m sorry you guys couldn’t see it earlier, but now it’s rearing its ugly head. They’ve never had the horses to win, they have no top end skill, and when they did, they didn’t know how to use it properly.

No I agree he's been borderline disappointing but I think his teammates have some part of it I expected it more. By the same token you can see the skill level pop in flashes he's capable of making high end puck plays he'll put it together I'm not that worried long-termJR1 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:17 pmI’m not writing him off. “If they want us to get 60 points, I can make
This roster yet 60 points”
And he’s going it without trading anyone. It’s crazy.

Hate to disappoint one of the last posters, but Hofer gave up number seven.
Fowler should sit for Kessel .
And then I’ll go back to what I thought last week. Monty should sit up in the press box and watch this debacle.

Takes time to adjust to a different league.DawgDad wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:19 pmNo, not at all. I'm just commenting on what I see. The kid has ONE ES point! Aside from the apparently endless line of injuries, this team has 2 problems. One, Binnington, can be fixed. He's pretty much the worst goalie in the NHL this season. Just gonna have to sit him as much as possible until he figures it out.JR1 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 21:03 pmThat’s my opinion on the talent pool. I honestly don’t think we have any difference makers in the pipeline but no one can see the future. Back to DD, I think you hit the nail on the head by questioning tenacity or lack of it. He gives up without a fight and is supposedly one of our top prospects.DawgDad wrote: ↑11 Dec 2025 20:53 pmI can't make that jump to the sweeping generalization about judging talent.
To me Dvorsky's problems at ES stem from an incomplete adjustment from bigger ice surfaces. He works best with time and space, that's a European game. His other problem is MUCH more concerning; he lacks tenacity on and off the puck. That, frankly, is inexcusable.
I want DD to be successful, I wanted him to move the needle even an eensy bit. He's on a downward trajectory.
The bigger problem, and it's not just this season, as it's been going on for a few years (minus the last couple months of last season) is they just can't finish enough to change their opponent's game. I can't even watch this sh*t anymore.
They had like 5 grade-A opportunities in the first 10 minutes when the game was scoreless... zilch. Even if they had scored one, which they've done plenty, they're not scoring additional goals to force their opponent to open up. If there's no threat your opponent can light you up because of your mistakes, then there's no reason to play defensively.
Teams just keep coming at the Blues nonstop and bury them because there's no blowback. I've never seen such a poor scoring team. It's maddening and depressing at this point. I can't even remember the last time they scored 5 goals, and that's something you SHOULD be doing at least once every week to 10 days.
This is pathetic. But if they could somehow find some offensive semblance and start scoring, the talent on this team, of which there is a decent amount, could start to build.
Again, this is why the Mailloux trade is/was disastrous. Bolduc brought a shot threat, finishing ability, and physicality.
Maillsitin brings nothing.

I'm watching. It was sarcasm. Good grief! Anyone that blames the goalie on a 7 goal loss? Cmon men!!!
