This team is abysmal. I'm depressed. One thing seems evident, and that's that Hofer should be starting most games for the foreseeable future. I'm ready for the fire sale.

Shhhhhh! You're making excuses.
Say it!

Say “this team would be above .500 if only they had Snuggerud, Kyrou and Bjugstad”.

I dare you. lolololololololol
Now you're just being stupid. I never remotely claimed the team would be above .500. I will claim THIS game wouldn't look like THIS with the five injured forwards healthy.
You’re excusing this performance. It’s the same exact performance we’ve had since puck drop of the season…and you’re trying to be an (donkey) about it and looking stupid yourself in the process.

Which of these losses occurred after the Kyrou and snuggerud injuries?

5-0
8-3
7-4
6-4
6-3
6-1

This team is in a real problem spot and it has absolutely nothing to do with injuries.

I’ve been watching for years and I think this is the worst team we’ve ever had. How can we haven’t used Matt Kessel in a while could he be any worse than Mr. Fowler out there?

Just here for the meltdown.

Blues aren't a good team. Its been a while since we were this bad. Im ok with admitting that and moving on. Sooner the better. I want to get to the exciting part where the kids come up and give a little hope for the future.

He’s another one of our highly regarded picks who hasn’t developed like expected.. honestly Snuggy has been the best but he really hasn’t done much either. I think the scouting team is a poor judge of talent.
I can't make that jump to the sweeping generalization about judging talent.

To me Dvorsky's problems at ES stem from an incomplete adjustment from bigger ice surfaces. He works best with time and space, that's a European game. His other problem is MUCH more concerning; he lacks tenacity on and off the puck. That, frankly, is inexcusable.

I want DD to be successful, I wanted him to move the needle even an eensy bit. He's on a downward trajectory.

Would be above 0.500 if they did not make the Mailloux trade and signed Leddy instead. We downgraded multiple positions in that one trade as Leddy>>Mailloux and Bolduc>>McMing or Sunny or Joesph or Kasminski or Fabbri.
There’s been a series of very questionable off season decisions. Right now we look poorly constructed, poorly coached, poorly captained and poorly aligned to future development.
…but the new jerseys look nice.

I'm really not seeing the benefit of the Bolduc/Mailloux trade. Kessel could easily be just as bad as Mailloux. And we could have kept Bolduc.

You can't blame injuries for this. The fact is that good teams win anyway because they have depth and skill. Champions win. Losers make excuses. We suck man. This is a really bad, uninspiring, vanilla team.

Dvorskys problem right now is the same problem every scout professed throughout his draft season. Hes too slow.

It’s why his draft slot was where it was. Teams passed on him because of it.

Some here hoped his IQ and tenacity would make up for it. Maybe it eventually does but right now he’s only effective when his line-mates have been able to buy time in the ozone for him to setup (e.g. powerplay); unfortunately we’re a team incapable of sustained ozone pressure, so he’s been fairly useless.

Yes, power could go out in the arena.
