Fowler is also -2 and just had the weak play on the boards for a giveaway and empty net goal. Tonight really exposed how soft this Blues team is. It was tough to watch. Army has slowly but surely “retooled” into a very soft team.

He was already trending that way 5-7 years ago
Blues outhit the Bruins 30-24 last night. So much for soft.
I'd guess we lose 8 out of 10 games we win at hitting. I'd bet we lose 7 of 10 we out hit

If you're hitting guys to separate them from the puck that produces a lot more than hits after the puck is gone. You can wear down the other team with the less consequential hits- as they did in the playoffs in 2019- but not enough effect in one game.
