Fowler is also -2 and just had the weak play on the boards for a giveaway and empty net goal. Faulk was standing with his head up his rear with two uncovered Bruins in front of our net on the Bruins 3rd goal. This was a team loss. Also concerned when Bjugsted was taken out with a dirty hit and the Blues did…..nothing. This team has weak sticks and is soft.

Tonight really exposed how soft this Blues team is. It was tough to watch. Army has slowly but surely “retooled” into a very soft team.

I'd guess we lose 8 out of 10 games we win at hitting. I'd bet we lose 7 of 10 we out hit

If you're hitting guys to separate them from the puck that produces a lot more than hits after the puck is gone. You can wear down the other team with the less consequential hits- as they did in the playoffs in 2019- but not enough effect in one game.
