I actually don’t hate the MTL idea, though I would imagine we might need to throw in a mid-tier prospect to get it over the finish line.

From OTT’s side, that seems a big overpayment. I can’t see them giving up Pinto and Yak for Faulk and Kyrou alone.

Faulk is having a decent year all things consider so his value is probably the highest its been in a few years. So I could easily see him move. But if I had to pick Id go Yak, Eller, Perron, and a 1st for Kyrou and Faulk

Montreal would laugh at this trade with or without all your mid level prospects thrown in.

Faulk is looking like he'll provide the most value if this team sells at the TDL (or before). He's only got 1 more year and is getting older so you probably bite the bullet and get the most for him now, and fill in best you can. It's not so much about this year or even next but building the pipeline/roster up. Faulk won't be part of the team after his current deal ends. If he is then we've wiffed on both Mailloux and Jiricek being at least on the middle pair which is not going to be good for the organization.
