Would look good on the 3rd line.

Why i thought everyone reiterated that the victim"wanted it"

This is funny.
But with all our fourth line AHL depth playing the right way.
It may be hard for him to get those top six minutes. Monty would like for him.

The headlines read "signs with AHL affiliate."
Idk why he fell off so bad after his good age 24 season with 45 pts, but apparently it was so bad that he played in the KHL last season and nobody wanted him this season, so he's signing to play in Springfield.
I know the forwards have been putrid, but...

zam, he was part of the 5 Team Canada guys that went on trial. That's why he ended up in the KHL.zamadoo wrote: ↑09 Dec 2025 15:51 pm The headlines read "signs with AHL affiliate."

Ah, thanks, figured I was missing something important about his character like that.Frank Underwood wrote: ↑09 Dec 2025 15:56 pmzam, he was part of the 5 Team Canada guys that went on trial. Well... another charity case for the cause!

They were acquitted in a country that puts you in jail for making mean tweets. One would be safe to assume that maybe they were actually innocent of any crime. Poor judgment, but no crime.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑09 Dec 2025 15:02 pmWhy i thought everyone reiterated that the victim"wanted it"

Im assuming there was a big thread about it here back when it was topical, and if so, I didn’t post or participate in it, so Im not part of the ‘everyone’ crowd. I just said no because I think his skills, or lack there of, are redundant on this team and doesn’t move the needle in terms of helpin the team at all. Plus Id rather we play our prospects that are starting to age and be ready to play instead.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑09 Dec 2025 15:02 pmWhy i thought everyone reiterated that the victim"wanted it"
As far as the charges against Dube, I couldn’t care less in regards to signing him. He was aquitted, so he deserves the right to earn a living just like anyone else does. I just want him to learn that living on someone else’s team.

I really have no idea how good a player or what role he could fill either here or in Springfield. Obviously what he did was stupid, but apparently it wasn't criminal. He shouldn't be punished by losing his career. He has already lost several years.
Can he be a player? Now that he's on a PTO I guess we'll find out.

Carter Hart is getting a second chance with Vegas.

Carter Hart was the most talented of the five, and played the most in-demand position.
Had their careers not been interrupted, Hart was on his way to being one of the top 30 goalies on the planet, ie some team's starter. Dube was on his way to being one of the top 300 forwards on the planet, ie in some team's top 9.
Dube wasn't ever going to be more than what we already have plenty of in the system - guys with some scoring or playmaking ability but suspect total package.
