For the love of god stop pulling the goalie

Post by WeWentBlues0819 »

They are historically bad 6-5. They have ZERO chance of tying the game with the goalie pulled. Stop it.

It wouldn't have mattered. They needed a goal. It's a last ditch effort of trying to not lose. They should have put in a better effort in the 2nd prd.

Does it really matter if you lose by 1 or 2 ?

The Blues collectively forget how to play hockey when a goalie is pulled and it is infuriating. If you are trying not to lose, keep the goalie in. The blues will give up an empty net goal every single time within 30 seconds. You have absolutely no shot at a win.

Between this and mind [fork]ing the goalies I am so over monty.

well this is objectively not true. it didn't happen that way yesterday. And there was a game within the last couple weeks where they went about 4 minutes with the goalie pulled without giving up a goal.

Monty isn't the problem. He made some mistakes with some line shuffling this year. But he is the last person to blame for a problem that existed last year exactly the same.

You don't get to complain about defense unless your offense scores 3 goals. Yesterdays game isn't a defensive lapse. It's another inept offensive game. But to their credit, it's because they are extremely banged up. Kaskimaki and Luff looked outmatched badly. And then Bjug going down completely made the bottom 6 irrelevant.

Remember when JV did the 2-minute drill against Varsity when they were down by 35?

Weak teams do that.
