Tis the season for coaching staff changes

Post by Power74 »

I see that Heupel just axed his D coordinator after going 8-4. What do you think the odds are that Drink makes a move? Early on he showed the willingness (firing Jethro Franklin mid season, getting rid of Wilks after one season) to move on. I think its less than 50% that he lets Moore go.

He loves this dink and dunk passing offense -- at its best. Run run run and run run pass works okay until it gets stuck in the mud against the better teams.

It's been rumored that Dylan Raiola may be hitting the portal. Head coach may have given him a hint when he fired Donovan Raiola, Dylan's uncle and Nebraska O-line coach

Agreed that the chance of a change at OC is less than 50-50.

Buster Faulkner is the replacement I suggested a couple weeks ago. I've been reading for several days that Florida is expected to hire him. Given the delay, maybe he's still available.

Maybe Moore will get an offer that will be too good to pass up and move on. Or maybe he will go to the Saints where his brother is head coach.

Fact that Drink hasn't had security drag KM out of building with a cardboard box of his belongings tells you all you need to know about him. Like his offense he is a COWARD and now with this stupid contract he is secure and doesn't give a hot dang about the U or the fans. He likes KM but unless someone stupidly offers him a job somewhere else like for his brother looks like we are stuck with him and a dull as dirt unimaginative offense forseeable future. Dink and dunk for few yards and NO down field shots till desperation at end of games Dull and never stretching the D so they can sneak down and help in stopping the Run.

Many of us are losing interest in following team closely because really he could get all studs in TP but with such a loser boy calling the plays and drawing up schemes that are the opposite of what should be successful what's the point? KM can't develop QB's they are what they are when they hit campus and don't get proper coaching so never reach their true potential.

Hopefully some HS needs a HC back in Cali and they offer him the job. About where he belongs.

BOC chose the easy route all the while the bottom feeders of SEC went out and hired some outstanding G5 HC's who are very impressive and will blow by MU quickly. Worse they are hiring all the top OC's who Eli should have been interviewing and hiring.

So MU is stuck in this doom loop of mediocrity. At least he has revealed his true self.
