After seeing Indiana and their nerd HC just beat up and defeat a outstanding OSU team to win B1G championship have to be my team as they are what MU fans aspire to. No name program with zero success in decades suddenly having a HC with a plan and a SPINE with great assistants rises up and smites the Big Brands. Of course I would love it if Ole Miss does well after Lane Quitting Kiffin abandoned his players and fans once again who believed he would stay because he gave his word to his players but he did what a immoral Quitter with no character does. These same celebrating LSU fans will be truly surprised when he leaves them for either Tejas or Bama.

Who are you backing for the playoffs.

BTW thank goodness they finally kept the over rated and entitled ND out of playoffs. Surprised Aggies didn't get more respect from the committee.

I believe OSU will learn from their loss and sweep to another NC. Not rooting for them but sometimes Natty's just need that wake up call game.

Ole Miss is my adopted team, followed by Indy.

But I’d also like to see the SEC teams do well overall. Helps our brand and makes Mizzou look better.

Indiana lost two games last year - to the national champions (Ohio State) and to the team that lost to the national champions in the last game (Notre Dame) so saying they came out of nowhere is a stretch.

Mizzou lost to three playoff teams (Alabama, Oklahoma, aTm) so I’d like to see one of them go all the way. OU faces Alabama in the first round so ideally I’d like to see the OU/Tide winner face aTm in the final game.

For this years CFP, I think the two NIL/ Portal programs backed by billionaires is interesting - IU/ Cuban and TT/ Campbell. They have bought their way into success v the blue bloods. Either could win out, though I favor IU with their Heisman QB. It's going to be really interesting.

That’s the beauty of it if Ole Miss were to win. Kiffin wouldn’t get much credit and wouldn’t go down in history as the title winning coach. Besides, I’m getting a kick out of their D coordinator turned HC. He seems like a character. It would also be must see tv after because you know the grumbling by the Kiffin camp would be he was robbed of getting to coach in the playoffs. He’ll look like the biggest baby in history.

Even though it would be great for him to miss out and NEVER win a NT elsewhere......Kiffen would try to take credit for the title. His team. His system. All His, His, His.

Nothing against O'l Miss .....if not for this they'd be on my list of acceptable teams.

Much safer to keep this arrogant clown miles and miles from any connection to a NT. IMO.

This, I have family in Indiana and they think they are the next coming of god and a full blown football school. My nephew casually dismissed Mizzou as "they're terrible" and assumed they were below .500. They also think the SEC football days are done and B10 is the only conference that matters.

I am in on Georgia followed by Alabama, Mississippi, then A&M.

If I were forced to root for a team, it would not be an SEC team. I'm a Missouri fan, not an SEC fan. They are the enemy. Their success makes Missouri's job harder. I'm guessing I would pull for Indiana. I like the arrogance of their coach. He is not into boring coach speak. He does not bow down to opponents. He trashes them. I like that style. And it has worked insanely well for him and his team. From worst to first is always a good story.
