you can't compare a Loserboy like Eli with someone who GOT R DONE against the B1G's Big Brands. Beating OR in Eugene was a dominant win on the road and then OSU in championship? Epic shows you can win literally at anywhere IF your da man and he proved he was.

Here's the rub Eli could have acquired IU's QB for a similar contract as Beau's. Guess who chose poorly? Biggest difference is the OC for IU who was really good while MU had the putz KM who was afraid of his own shadow and didn't know how to put a viable game plan together nor adjust during the game.

So BOC's was happy with mediocre and beating up the cupcakes and now stuck with someone we thought had potential but decisions in last half of season have proven otherwise. EVERY opportunity Eli had he BLEW IT.

Drinkwitz would be happy as a lark to be a bowl team at 6-6. Can't blame him. $10.75 million a year would make most guys happy.

Man not only a rough crowd but not sure any of you haters understand how great teams do come about, particularly for schools like Missouri that have to fight for everything they get.

Flame away...it's an old saw and so easy to type away about but as long as I see Missouri bring in talent to move forward I'll stay with what I know we have and hope for the best.

This pop corn stand stuff gets old boys.

Cignetti has been amazing but Bob Chesney has quite a story too. He's younger but has revived smaller programs. After Cig took his best players with him, Chesney went 9-4 his first year, winning JMU's first bowl game ever and in year 2 he's got his team in the playoffs.

The Ducks will smoke them but afterwards Chesney takes over at UCLA.

You know what gets old for me and others? Being okay with mediocrity. Drinkwitz has not scored a signature win in 6 years. How long is enough? Cignetti took the worst P4 team and has it No. 1 after beating Oregon on the road and OSU. Now I know the SEC is a different animal, but always losing the big games has gotten old.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what Drinkwitz has done here to lift the program to where it is now. I don't like seeing regression, though, with arguably the worst passing offense in the SEC this year. This could have been a special year with the elite defense, but the offense spit the bit.

I respect yours and others' opinions on Drinkwitz that diverge from mine. And we all hope that this program progresses. I want Drinkwitz to succeed. I'm not all that confident, though, that he hasn't plateaued as a HC.
