Hofer is in the latter category right now.
He's proven his metal before and when working with his coach and looking at film I'm sure he'll have that to fall back on.

The goalie position is a lot like golf...especially the putting. You don't get to the highest level of competition without athletic skills, but that position is affected VERY much by what is between the ears. Amateurs, when they are having difficulty putting, go to Golf Galaxy and buy a new expensive putter...and that wears off while they still are not any good. The BEST goalies, sweep the puck out of the net, turn around, look forward, forget about it and keep playing.
