Just saw Seattle landed a pitcher from Cleveland
I've been reading the trade rumors, which has the Cardinals making trades with pretty much everyone. I was wondering if something was close with Seattle as far as pitching returning to Cardinals as a result of their trade.

Sorry Scout, I probably didn't communicate my thoughts clearly. I understand Seattle has some prospect pitchers that the Cards are interested in. I was wondering if Seattle was waiting on making a trade with the Cards, because they still wanted a higher end pitching prospect to replace what they would be trading to St. Louis. Now that they've made the trade with Cleveland, I was wondering if Seattle might be ready to make a trade with the Cards. Here's the link

What trade with Cleveland. Your link is to a trade between Seattle and Washington. What they got from Washington was a reliever not a starter. So that trade most likely has nothing to do with the Cardinalshockey jedi wrote: ↑06 Dec 2025 17:58 pm Sorry Scout, I probably didn't communicate my thoughts clearly. There was talk of Seattle wanting Romero. Now they don't need him.HorseTrader wrote: ↑07 Dec 2025 09:47 amWhat trade with Cleveland. Your link is to a trade between Seattle and Washington. This thread is still utter bull[shirt]... Seattle didn't get a pitcher from Cleveland
The Cards got a pitcher from Cleveland. Seattle got one from the Nationals.
