The team a good proportion of this board thought would show up still can guys.
Will they? The odds are not good for this but of course they can...of course it's better than just possible too. Every game night I sit and watch to see if it might start to happen. Why the hell not? All of these players can do better than what were seeing and I personally take some consolation that it's the goalies who must......knowing they can.
There's a point and time where this posed question can be answered in the affirmative but it's not right now.

Re: Is the season a lost cause
Every time I see a series of promising games and feel hope, the team takes steps backwards. In this league it’s too easy to gain a point so once we’re over 4 points out of a playoff spot and we got about 1/3 the season in it looks so bleak again. I read of other teams with 5+ game winning streaks and it makes me feel worse about this season. If the Blues players just looked like they had a clue. It’s terrible for long periods of time in games without shots. The Boston shots were largely mirages.
I had hope when Binner& Hofer were playing a lot more decent and we were getting a lot of overtimes, but then the other players couldn’t generate any goals & they all were 1 pointers. So so disappointing.
So now Binnington is slipping & let’s hope Hofer does not falter again. Let’s hope to at least go back to tight games & not like what happened in Boston after the 1st 2 goals.
Hofer is the goalie hope & at least 3,0ther players better get hot or we have a season of mediocrity-minus

You see Binner slipping, I see him thrown into a shark tank with no rescue. 5-1 loss and he was one of the better players on the ice, it devolved into a clown show in front of him. I saw Parayko looking like Mailloux at the beginning of the season, players making horrible decisions all over the ice.Russdv14 wrote: ↑06 Dec 2025 01:02 am Every time I see a series of promising games and feel hope, the team takes steps backwards.
