Good to see Love named the starter for Sweden. Currently 3rd in GAA and SV% in his pro league at age 18. Looking forward to seeing him and his future progress.

He made the roster. He’s one of 3 goalies on the roster. He hasn’t been named the starter. That said, he does have a good chance of being the starter. He’s 18 and Herman Liv is 19 so maybe Liv will be the default starter. Hard to say. Both have been good in the Allsvenskan this season. Liv is only 5’10” though and many teams can be skittish of undersized goalies so maybe that’ll give Harenstam the edge. We’ll find out soon enough!

I’ve got tickets to see USA-Sweden on NYE so hopefully he’s starting that night!

I'm naming him the starter.

Looked at some video on him and he is really a side to side goalie. He is constantly sprawling around, post to post, making some pretty nice saves. Some say his size is a minus, but not sure he would be as mobile/athletic.

Anyway, good for him and good for us.
