Assuming Arenado is traded along with the “position” of the team and Gorman’s low cost in $$ I could see them giving him another make or break season.
You also have to factor in that according to ONE ELITE CT Poster Gorman is the best hitter on the team!

Yes but remember....that poster is “without bias” and “always about the game!”.

Easy move OR to switch him out in the 8th inning (T. Saggese) of any game you have a comfortable lead.OldRed wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025 09:05 amCan't always switching him out or you deplete your bench. Have to have a 3rd baseman who is capable defensively of playing 9 innings.rockondlouie wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025 08:55 am By years end he was improving but still below league average.
The arm is fine satch, he just can't make the off balance throws as well as the greats we've been spoiled w/here (NADO, Rolen, Reitz, even Pendleton and Obie).
His range to his left is mitigated by M. Winn's great range and arm to his right!
Coming in on balls is a nightmare,
I'd have my non-power, fastest hitters bunting on him all day.![]()
But he's only going to be at 3rd base, after NADO is dealt, to really do one thing and that'(poop) HR's.
Do that 25-30+ times and we'll live w/the defensive flaws, switching him out late in games the Cards have the lead.
