Keep Winn, Herrera, Wetherholt, Gorman, Walker, Doyle, Liberatore, Matthews, Rodriguez and Baez. Everyone else in the organization should be fair game as long as they bring back equal or greater value. Gorman and Walker are just too big of wildcards to sell low on imo. Grab as many guys in the rule 5 as allowed, sign a bunch of AAAA FA types that could breakout still and sign a few 1 yr prove it FA that would bring value at the trade deadline.
Point is there is little to salvage from this current generation and I fear anything short of a total upheaval will limit the speed at which the organization can turn things around.
Trade everyone?

How about adding Mitchell to the list ? 2nd round pick who is just starting out plus he is an OF.. our 11th ranked prospectbillybaseball wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025 09:08 am Keep Winn, Herrera, Wetherholt, Gorman, Walker, Doyle, Liberatore, Matthews, Rodriguez and Baez. May want to consider Padilla also 10th ranked .. Both are 18 year olds

That's fair. I didn't want to list too many prospects but those you stated and some others don't have equal trade value vs value to the organization so they wouldn't be moved unless it was to sweeten a big deal.ramfandan wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025 09:18 amHow about adding Mitchell to the list ? 2nd round pick who is just starting out plus he is an OF.. our 11th ranked prospectbillybaseball wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025 09:08 am Keep Winn, Herrera, Wetherholt, Gorman, Walker, Doyle, Liberatore, Matthews, Rodriguez and Baez. and that's where one has to be careful .. adding a promising 18 year old to sweeten a deal may be trading a diamond in the rough. For me, at least for another year or two I am holding on to both Padilla and Mitchell. If we are rebuilding , then two 18 year old youngsters already in your top 11 are guys to consider.billybaseball wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025 09:32 amThat's fair. Re: Trade everyone?
I don't worry about future value as much. Had Marcell Ozuna hit in St. Louis like he has at his peak, no one would be stressed about Alcantara and Gallen. But if the Dodgers said they'll trade us Emmit Sheehan for Brendan Donovan if we throw in Yairo Padilla you do it everyday. Padilla could become a star but if Sheehan is our cost controlled ace for the next 5 years then it is worth it. Even if Sheehan flames out, it's worth it because Padilla is currently expendable and a huge wild card.ramfandan wrote: ↑05 Dec 2025 09:49 amand that's where one has to be careful .. adding a promising 18 year old to sweeten a deal may be trading a diamond in the rough.
