Whom would you prefer as head coach?
Kiffin or Drinkwitz. I prefer Eli.

Kiffin is just burning time waiting for Bama or Ohio State jobs to open up.

Re: Whom would you prefer as head coach?
Interesting question, but I’d take Drink.
Drink is only 42 and has maybe half the years experience coaching that Kiffin does. So Drink is still learning and evolving as a coach. People forget how young and inexperienced he is. He has a lot of talent as a recruiter, which is half the battle. He has things to learn about coaching, but I’d say cutting his teeth in the SEC, he’s done a great job so far. We’ve had to experience his growing pains, like figuring out offense and the passing game.
He needs to continue to evolve and be wise, but I’m confident he will. We need him to do that and make Mizzou his legacy.
Kiffin is a good coach for sure. But he has his body of work, we know what he is. And he’ll cut bait and run in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t want the uncertainty that would always follow him, like you’re only renting him for a few years.
