They play the blackhawks on Jan 7th. Maybe this can be the magic date again (ok probably not with this team) but it could happen (doubtful). Do they have a goaltender in the minors that nobody has heard of that they can call up? Maybe a bar in Chicago where they can get someone to play Gloria? I know I'm really reaching but this team doesn't give me much hope.

This team is lost. They have two guys that won't get by the bouncer in the bar and a host of others that will get bounced on the ice. They don't need a savior, they need ten.

I agree with all of this my comment was mostly tongue in cheek but as a fan I have to keep at least a little hope. I'm not real optimistic about the sports scene for the near future. Maybe Gates can get the BB team to do something but I'm not sold. At least the MU women won an exciting game tonight.
