Morning skate lines
Neighbours-Schenn-Kessel*
Holloway-Suter-Kyrou
Kaskimaki-Dvorsky-Buchnevich
Joseph-Sundqvist-Bjugstad
*Thomas not skating
Broberg-Parayko
Tucker-Faulk
Fowler-Mailloux
Binnington
Hofer
Really like the idea of Kaskimaki with Dvorsky they have some experience together in the A i think this could be a decent line even with Bumnevich on the right. I think Kaskimakis ceiling is more Top 9 two way guy than a 4th liner, Blues need a Finn right now too. Excited to see him get his chance.
Going right back to Bummington? Hmmmm i guess we will see but the Blues really need wins right now and Hofer has been easily the better player

This team won't go anywhere until they figure out who the number one goalie is.

The problems run deeper than that.BalotelliMassive wrote: ↑04 Dec 2025 11:56 am This team won't go anywhere until they figure out who the number one goalie is.

Re: Morning skate lines
So wait is Schenn playing on that line (whether center or wing) or is he just there since Thomas is sitting it out? If Schenn is on that line, he will be getting big time minutes.
Monty's obsession with Schenn and Sunny is absurd.

If we have a goaltending problem, it's not about who's number one or who's number two. To me, we have two excellant goaltenders. One of them just happenes to have helped us win a Stanley Cup. That's kinda important. At least to me it is. No offense intended.

Is The Thomas playing tonight?

It's hard for a player to get into a groove when they can't earn a start - Hofer's last one was a shutout.Bacchk29 wrote: ↑04 Dec 2025 12:12 pmThe problems run deeper than that.BalotelliMassive wrote: ↑04 Dec 2025 11:56 am This team won't go anywhere until they figure out who the number one goalie is.
Re: Morning skate lines
A “maintenance” day for Thommer, hopefully to get his head straight and to shoot the puck more and be accurate.
Re: Morning skate lines
Binner winning the Cup is irrelevant as it relates to this year's team. It's 6 years ago and he's not exactly been a stalwart the last couple of years. His numbers have been NHL avg at best. Of late Hofer has been the better of the two but I'm fine with the every other split right now. I wouldn't throw Binner to curb just yet anymore than I would have advocated doing it to Hofer after his early season starts.Blues Dave wrote: ↑04 Dec 2025 13:42 pm If we have a goaltending problem, it's not about who's number one or who's number two. Agree to bold. Dude can absolutely rip it.MrPostman01 wrote: ↑04 Dec 2025 14:26 pmAnd STOP turning the puck over. He has about 36 turnover and only about a dozen takeaways.

Those might be the worst lines I've ever seen. Wow.
