"I'm not sure if the Cardinals have a long-term view for Dylan Carlson...but I'll go ahead and say it...if they do trade him at the deadline, it would be maybe two years before he's an All Star with his new team."

lol well he was on the team in 2024 so I guess he could be an all star next season and it’s true but I wouldn’t hold my breath.todd-parker wrote: ↑03 Dec 2025 15:41 pm "I'm not sure if the Cardinals have a long-term view for Dylan Carlson...but I'll go ahead and say it...if they do trade him at the deadline, it would be maybe two years before he's an All Star with his new team."

K-K-K Katy
Beautiful Katy
You’re the only one that
Told the truth on-air
When-when the rumors
Start to move here,
I’ll be missing Katy Woo
Making them clear.

Yes it seems the attractive sports reporters and broadcasters all head to Cali. The Cardinals and Blues lost Erica Weston to the Angels a few years ago.

They need to hire an old curmudgeon that won’t just parrot the Dewitt and front office propaganda since the writer is worried about their long-term career. Katie Woo’s writing was completely useless since it provided no information beyond the PR speak the team had already released.

Agreed! He is defintely missed. Even Bryan Burwell had his moments of not just taking the company line as well.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑03 Dec 2025 19:16 pmRIP Joe Strausszoiks wrote: ↑03 Dec 2025 19:13 pm They need to hire an old curmudgeon that won’t just parrot the Dewitt and front office propaganda since the writer is worried about their long-term career. Fellas you may be on to something……and both died within months from some very rare cancer…..at relatively young age…..zuck698 wrote: ↑03 Dec 2025 21:23 pmAgreed! He is defintely missed. Well, not everyone can bat 1.000. But reporters shouldn't be opining about such things anyway. Not professional.todd-parker wrote: ↑03 Dec 2025 15:41 pm "I'm not sure if the Cardinals have a long-term view for Dylan Carlson...but I'll go ahead and say it...if they do trade him at the deadline, it would be maybe two years before he's an All Star with his new team."

I’d be curious to see the link to that quote.todd-parker wrote: ↑03 Dec 2025 15:41 pm "I'm not sure if the Cardinals have a long-term view for Dylan Carlson...but I'll go ahead and say it...if they do trade him at the deadline, it would be maybe two years before he's an All Star with his new team."

This is Bernie giving all the reasons they shouldn’t trade Carlson for Juan Soto.
