Drink now #2 in SEC in seniority with 6 years
Only Kirby Smart at 10yrs has more time in current role. Crazy world we live in where 10 of the 16 coaches have less than 2 years

Mark Stoops was No. 1. Take that for what it's worth. He reached a ceiling and could never get higher.

And what school is proud to have fired their coach?
For me I look at it and say if this team had the right QB and FG kicker this year they make the play offs in spite of Kirby.
I don't want to dump my coach for that reason...far from it.

I would say most schools. Penn St LSU Auburn Florida Va Tech Stanford Cal Mich St Ore St just this year.
I don't think Oklahoma St or Kentucky were proud of "what they had to do," but that's the exception.
Big Wig Boosters at a number of schools brag to others about how they got a coach fired. It's nothing new. It's been going on for decades.

Cooch/Wino: you’ve been on my ignore list for years. Since Drink was an undergrad, in fact. Why don’t you take a very long walk off a short pier? You are one of the few people on earth who think your role in the world is to suck, and you’re proud of it. You serve no useful purpose that I know of. I hear ku is looking for another b-hole. You would be a proud member of that group. Give it a try.

Stoops is still a very good coach and I would take him over Drink in a minute. The problem at Kentucky is that they don't give much NIL funding help to the football team and pouring it all into the basketball team. This year's basketball team has a 22 million dollar payroll by far the highest in college basketball.
Mizzou has a 31 million dollar NIL payroll this year and 75% of that went to the football team. (23 million) and all the other sports teams have to divvy up the rest. (8 million)
